The originally designed striped pattern draws directly from the plumage of the Orange-bellied Parrot, a small migratory parrot found only in south eastern Australia. With the wild population once reduced to fewer than 50 birds, it remains one of the country’s most urgent conservation stories. Each colour reflects the bird’s distinctive markings.

Stripes designed to look sharp and stand out, sparking curiosity and conversation. These colours carry meaning, referencing a species whose future depends on ongoing protection, habitat restoration, and dedicated breeding and recovery programs.

Made from a premium cotton blend, these crew socks are designed for everyday comfort. A Birdmark fabric disc near the ankle marks the piece as part of the Endangered series.
