Back to the Field - A Lyfer Initiative: Community & Getting Back to Basics

As one of the first birding lifestyle brand, we started Lyfer with a bold vision, to create a brand that proudly represents the full spectrum of birding communities and the diversity within them.

Back to the Field is one of the first initiatives we’ve launched to bring that vision to life.

This campaign is a simple but intentional move to give back to the people already out there growing the birding movement. We're gifting Lyfer Field Notepads to birding group leaders across the country to pass on at their walks, meetups and events. Inside each notepad is a message from us, to help others discover Lyfer and what we stand for. 

But this isn’t just about handing out notepads. It’s about connection.
These field pads that we designed at our HQ in Melbourne (and made from water- and tear-proof 100% stone paper), are a nod to going back to basics. A reminder to slow down, keep the phone in the pocket, and record the moments in your notepad instead. 

They also speak directly to two of Lyfer's key purpose pillars: well-being and community. You can read more about our Purpose Pillars here.

Back to the Field is just the beginning. As a start-up, we’re already choosing to invest in the community that makes birding what it is, diverse, passionate and growing. This is one of many community-led initiatives we plan to roll out as we continue building a brand that unites, celebrates and amplifies modern birders everywhere.
